Description
The essence of life in a touch.Spring always comes, from the highest Tree to the last Primula root in its shadow.
It waited almost finished for more than a month. It happens sometimes that you made all the steps in the colouring, all the things as you wanted to be, but something is missing, maybe the last touch to give the desired atmosphere. Usually this is all about finding the right colour switch in the colour balance tool, the right contrast in few zones, the right light and overlay highlights, this piece went into two pencilworks and started two colouring processes, Showed here is the second final version.
Pencil on paper, Photoshop, Painter Classic.
Thanks for taking a look

With that said, the atmosphere is very nice, and the hair is simply wonderfully painted. I can really feel the breeze blowing through the hairstrains, and the flying leaves strengthen this feeling. The treebranches in the top left are very well drawn and coloured, and I like the gray colour tones. The shading of the body is good, although I still think more red would be nice. The feathers are nice too, and make a fine contrast to the red hair.
Some things can be improved, but many things here are very good! I also want to thank you for what you said about how to get the right atmosphere in a picture; it can be really helpful to know.

this is a very very nice stylized drawing that needs no modifications...I can still enjoy this piece whether the tree is flat or not and if everything has outlines...
